Obama is Anti Incumbent Candidate for 2008

Some people say both major parties are the same, so it does not matter until we get a true Independent candidate, such as a Ron Paul type.  But as it stands now, Obama is surely the anti incumbent candidate in this election.  McCain is 95 percent the same as George Bush and only recently has tried to present himself as changing things in Washington, which we know he will not do.  Also I don’t think McCain understands anything about the economy but the Bush approach of letting the corporations do what they want to.   He will probably make the current head of Goldman Sacs head of the treasury just like GW did.  You see where they got us.

Obama is not perfect but at least he will be a change from the gangsters we have now.  It may end up the same, but it will take a while for his gangsters to get established.

McCain Lying about Palin’s Projects

The Wall St Journal reports:

Last week, Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain said his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, hadn’t sought earmarks or special-interest spending from Congress, presenting her as a fiscal conservative. But state records show Gov. Palin has asked U.S. taxpayers to fund $453 million in specific Alaska projects over the past two years.

Why does McCain repeatly state that Palin never sought special interest spending when the records are clear that she has.  McCain seems to think he can keep repeating this incorrect information and it will become true. Sounds like George Bush to me.
